Reviews over the
Vittoria Peyote G2 Race TLR

As fast as a racing tyre, as versatile as a mountain bike tyre
I use the Vittoria Peyote on my mountain bike for gravel rides and mixed-terrain routes. In terms of character, the tyre is somewhat reminiscent of a combination of a Schwalbe Racing Ralph and a Racing Ray, but it rolls noticeably faster and is very quiet on tarmac. That makes it ideal for long rides with plenty of tarmac and gravel sections. It also inspires a great deal of confidence thanks to its stable handling, both on tarmac and on unpaved roads. For more technical singletrack, I’d still opt for a Racing Ralph or Racing Ray because of their coarser tread pattern, but for gravel, tarmac and light off-road trails, the Peyote is an excellent compromise.

I'm really happy with it!
Fast tyres and easy tubeless fitting. They also remain airtight. They fit perfectly on a 30mm rim. The stated weight is accurate and the overall finish of the tyres is top-notch. I’m using them on the front and rear – they’re great for the routes in the Netherlands on the Heuvelrug.

Top tyres
Icm vittoria mezcal front tyre (and a slightly lower tyre pressure) a perfect combination.

Not bad
Once instead of the schwalbe thunderbird...not bad but still prefer the schwalbe...better traction and easier to fit

Amazing speed and grip
I like to test tires from different brands and these are the fastest I’ve tested. Very good grip. However, sometimes I’m experiencing small “burps” when rolling over rough terrain at speed. This cause small leaks of sealant at the rim but luckily no major loss of pressure. I’ve never had this happen before with other tires. The local tracks have sections that are very rough. Without the burps they would’ve been a solid 5/5
