Trek District 3 Equipped

Fine, sporty and light bike
I am very happy with the purchase of the Trek District 3 Equipped! For me it is the best bike I have ever owned. The bike looks beautiful, but more importantly, it rides great! Cycling is very smooth because of the light weight and the sporty riding position. Your cycling position is between a normal city bike and a mountain bike. The saddle is comfortable and invites for longer rides. The bike makes almost no noise, is easy to maintain and looks solid.

Good bike for daily (sporty) commuting.
Cycles light and does its job. Sporty posture and saddle without fatigue or pain.

Tough city bike with fine drive!
After a few years of being spoiled with my better half's unused e-bike, decided to go for a regular city bike after all. And what a bike it is! This bike has a cool, sporty look. Also, the belt-drive on this bike was one of the reasons why I chose it. It does not disappoint. It is silent cycling. I have yet to experience the low maintenance aspect of the belt since I haven't had the bike very long. Furthermore, this bike has mounting points on the top tube, down tube and seat tube. Ideal for water bottles, pumps or panniers. So all in all, a tough, sporty city bike, with nice colors, nice belt drive and enough options to dress it up with accessories. A small point is that it is quite heavy when cycling against the wind or uphill. But of course that could also be due to the fact that I have been on an e-bike for 2 years....

Nice bike, fine help!
Nice bike, owned it for 3 weeks now, was able to check it out next to the Batavus, was very happy that the people at Mantel are so helpful in that and give you the time to let you make a good choice! Thnx!

Recommended.
Been using this bike for 2 weeks now. Was looking for a light cycling bike, due to knee problems among other things. This bike is definitely that, finally allowing me to cycle long distances. But also ideal for the city. It takes some getting used to the fact that it has a slightly bent posture, making it a bit less comfortable compared to a usual city bike. But as said, you get used to that. Other than that, nice sleek design too. Additional, low-maintenance and durable parts. Suits me perfectly, thickly satisfied!

handlebars must be adjustable
I want to raise the handlebars but this is not possible. Now I am forced to cycle too far forward

Fine bike
Fine bike, been quite a search, but finally fell for Trek. The sporty seat was decisive, spice it up and you sit a bit deeper. On the downside, the swingarm is a bit far out so you have to adjust your seat to avoid hitting the swingarm with your heel every time. Otherwise nicely complete with lock and stand.... By the way, wiring to the rear light could have received a bit more attention. Looks a bit artificial and easy to disconnect.

Okay, but could be better
Cycles great, but after a week rust on the brake discs. After contacting trek, it turns out that it does not have a Shimano, but a different type of brake disc fitted. In addition, the soldering of the rear light came loose several times. Very annoying which I do not expect from trek or such a bike. Otherwise nice and stiff and ideal for commuting 15km.

Great bike at a great price
I'm going to have a lot of fun with this for my commute.

Good price-quality ratio
Overall a fine bike, in terms of stability do keep 2 hands on the handlebars. The lowest gear could be a bit lighter on steep hills.

Very nice light city bike for touring too
Very happy with this bike! I was looking for a city bike on which I could also tour quite a bit. This bike is perfect for that for me. It rides lightly and smoothly. I can do many kilometres on it, but it is also perfect for my daily 5 km to work.

Pleasant and fine bike, fragile mudguards.
The bike is very light and this is very pleasant in terms of cycling experience. Also, the belt drive combined with the gears cycles great. The bike is also really nice to look at and looks contemporary. I find the mudguards very weak in relation to the frame. The rear mudguard sits against the rear tyre at the drop of a hat. This is quite easy to repair, but really shouldn't be possible.

Super comfortable bike
Having not cycled for a very long time, after years it felt familiar

Top bike!
Very pleasant bike that cycles very lightly. I personally hate derailleur gears, so hugely happy with the hub gears. One of the lightest bikes in its class (15kg) and lighter I have not been able to find with a hub gear. You cycle very solidly on it. I personally like the saddle on the bike. The handlebars are slightly curved, so you sit comfortably on the bike.

Nice bike, enough gears for the Netherlands, maintenance-free due to belt drive

Beautiful bike
Received this beautiful bike size L (ladies) frame 55cm, but unfortunately too small for my 1.86m (long legs).

Top bike, I ride 30 km to and from work every day and with this bike it is really a pleasure!
Exceeds my expectations.I would have liked to have bought a District 4 because of even better features but I am already satisfied that I was able to buy this one because there is almost nowhere else a quality bike can be delivered at short notice. Top bike!

Fine and luxurious commuter bike 'plus'
Fine commuter bike that, besides being a city bike, is also great for touring in my spare time. Handy the luggage carrier MIK system to lock my bag.

Fine bike and hub could be better
It seems like the ratios in the nexus8 hub are different from 'normal'. The sixth gear comes across as smaller in terms of resistance and the seventh comes closer to the 'normal' sixth. Actually, a gear between six and seven would be ideal to maintain a pace of 22 km/h on average. I suspect the deviation is related to the Gates drive?

It's like I'm gliding across the tarmac
Great bike! In my short 24 years on this earth, I have worn out and rusted away several mediocre bikes. Never did I think cycling could actually be a fun activity, until I bought this bike. It makes zero noise, cycles very light, looks so cool that it attracts all women and has a bike bell that makes everyone look back at you! 10/10

Lovely bike
Not cycled much yet with this bad weather. But so far a great bike. Nice and light, very smooth shifting, great bike, great posture. Unfortunately, I haven't cycled a long distance yet.
