Very good, but immediately put foil on your frame at fixing points!

- Luuk, 14 February, 2025

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. However, I was stupid enough not to stick the foil provided directly on my bike, as I thought it would not scratch so easily on a clean frame. I thought wrong: at the back it went well, but at the front a bit of sand got between frame and mounting and there were some new scratches on my frame. The foil provided solved that problem.

Pros & Cons

clean clothes
easy to assemble
light
first assembly is difficult
scratches on frame (use film)

nice slim wings

- Yorick, 8 January, 2025

nice slim mudguards, perfect for 32mm or narrower. they come up to rear fork and front fork, no further, and you can't on a road bike because there is no room. watch out with the mounting, in uneven roads they will vibrate and if they hit your frame it will cause damage.

Pros & Cons

easy attachment
slim
movable, can cause damage

highly recommended

- Dirk, 8 January, 2024

Because the front mudguard stops at the fork, when cycling on wet surfaces from a speed of about 25 km/h, the water is simply thrown up in front of the fork and mudguard and still partly ends up on the face/body. All in all happy with the purchase though, makes cycling in wet weather or road conditions much more enjoyable.

A pretty good addition for cycling in rain or wet conditions

- Sieb, 27 December, 2023

The racing blades look sleek and are easy to install. The adjustment takes some time. A sufficient distance (1.5 cm) to the tyre is needed to prevent the blades from rubbing against the tyre while cycling. This did happen to me during the first rides, causing an annoying noise. It is necessary to tighten the rubber bands quite a bit to allow less play in the fastening. It may also be necessary to adjust after several hours of use. When the wind is strong, my experience is that your shoes still get wet from splashing water, but less so than when cycling without blades. In calmer weather, my shoes stay reasonably dry. My jacket stays nice and clean. So an improvement, but with rain or a wet road surface you still have to clean your bike after a ride.

Pros & Cons

I no longer go out without

- Evan, 9 December, 2023

Nice sleek mudguard set, at a good price the rear mudguard is very easy to fit. The front mudguard I had a bit more trouble with due to my 28 milimetre tyres rubbing against the plastic leg ends, in the end this almost completely worked out, now only at bumps I hear an occasional noise. This is not annoying and does not get in the way of morale.

Pros & Cons

Keeps both rider and bike cleaner

- Thijs, 19 November, 2022

Solid fenders that are surprisingly sturdy despite its appearance. Keeps your legs and shoes dry reasonably well. The only thing I find a bit off about it is that the fender at your rear wheel is a bit short at the front. This can cause the back of your lower legs and shoes to get wet/dirty eventually.

Nice slip-on

- Christophe, 24 January, 2022

Initially very satisfied. After a few rides and time to reflect, not so satisfied anymore. The boards could be a lot longer. Actually, you can shorten them nicely with a saw and some sandpaper. They could also be rounder, at least this way you fully protect the bike and rider. If you decide to fit your bike with mudguards at all, it's best to make it fully functional. After all, fitting a racing bike with boards is equivalent to swearing in a church, according to many riders. So let's get it right then too. I am in favour of mudguards and the whining doesn't bother me.

Pros & Cons

Flexible
Quick installation
Bike and clothing not entirely splash-free

- Casper, 3 January, 2022

Because the mudguards can be adjusted at various points, you can actually mount them tightly around your wheels at all times, which means less loss of aerodynamics and optimal protection against splashing water and dirt. Front mudguard is of great added value, saves a lot of dirt in your steering head and on your legs and feet.

Dry back, dirty front

- Laurens, 17 December, 2021

Bought these for my road bike. I was previously used to the mudrocker from on my gravel bike, which is both longer at the back and has some kind of extension at the front. The Raceblade now keeps my rear end dry, but because it is too short at the front and rear, my seattube, drivetrain and my front end (splashing water) still get dirty. Of course, that's also partly the fault of the bike itself, which has no frame to install longer mudguards.

A fellow cyclist had these on his bike and after some explanation I was convinced. Last weekend I cycled 70 km in the rain and I am super satisfied with them. They do their job super, I hardly have to clean the bike as a large part is absorbed by the mudguards.

Pros & Cons

Top purchase if you want to keep cycling even in wet weather

- Mark, 13 December, 2021

Mounting it is a bit of work, but not difficult and afterwards it is easy to dismantle and quickly put it back on again next year. After a ride on wet roads, the bike is still clean and dry and the chain a lot less dirty. A must for anyone who wants to cycle through autumn/winter. It does look less beautiful, but beautiful cyclists only ride their bikes in the sun ;)

Had to slightly chop the front fitting .
Take a lot of fitting if you have oval forks

Good idea, execution could have been much better and modification for frame protection needed.

- Bjorn, 5 November, 2021

It was some(hour) work to adjust the Fenders. Was almost impossible to get these mounted symmetrically. After 1st ride in the rain a bit sagged(despite really tightened well) which made them crooked again and moving the end sanded the paint off the frame in 2 places. On mounting also due to sagging scratches on frame. Another pity is that you have to fill your whole frame with protective film. Which is therefore also visible to a greater or lesser extent when you don't use the mudguards. Would have been better if the mudguard had also had stabilisation at seat post/vertical tube. Edges of Fenders are also very sharp and damage the bike quickly.

Pros & Cons

Close tightly
Look "pretty"
You do not hear them vibrate
Always need frame protectors(ugly)
Frame unfortunately stripped of paint due to vibrating mudguard
Front does not fit venge vias frame

Good and easy to apply .

- Luc, 10 February, 2021

Installed once, no problems, protects well against rain. I did have to adjust the rubbers to fasten the mudguards, as they did not fit nicely around the frame. Now they fit well and stay in place better.

Pros & Cons

Easy to adjust
Good price/quality
Protects well
Due to the thickness of the frame, the closure does not always fit

superblades for the winter months.

- Arthur, 18 January, 2021

I bought them because you have a lot of splashing water and sand in winter, especially along the coast. Now that's not a bad thing, but now my back stays dry and my frame reasonably clean. Everyone knows that sand, is disastrous for the vital parts of your bike, and with these racing blades you keep that to a minimum. I am super satisfied. Better than an asesaver

Pros & Cons

Cleaner
Dry lower back
Easy to fit.
Easy to remove
Does not look real
