Sidi Genius 5 Fit Carbon

Excellent quality cycling shoes, excellent comfortable fit and look the part.

I've been out on several rides with these shoes already now, and after some minor adjustments for the final fit, I can say they are brilliant. A good stiff sole which gives you confidence when getting out the saddle, straps that hold your foot exactly how you want it. I mean you can adjust the top ratchet at both ends, so by moving the ratchets anchor point you can keep the Sidi logo on the tongue exactly in the centre of your foot (very pro), the venting is good, really good.... too good in winter (as with most shoes), this is the most I've spent on shoes and to be honest I was a little sceptical about how much difference these would make to my ride from my old pair which cost a third of the price. They made a huge difference not only in comfort and gains in power transfer, which to be honest I thought was just marketing speak but they look great to in the car park before the ride, they make you look "quicker" more "pro" and any little psychological advantage I can get I'll take.
