Shimano Ultegra R8000

I replaced my 11/28 cassette with an 11/32, so I had to switch to a derailleur with a large clevis, but I wanted to stick with ultegra. Yesterday was my first ride around Digne and it was really great, you can really feel the change, less power work, more fluidity even in the 12% sectors.

Works perfectly after 2 minutes of adjusting the gearstick. Very neat packaging. Included cable guide too long for my application (l=15-20cm). Would have needed 5cm.

To replace a dura-ace short paste derailleur, fits without problem

In use for years. Has now been replaced due to signs of dropping. Easy to fit and adjust, everything runs as it did on the first day.

As you would expect, this is a Japanese precision part with a great design and excellent mechanical shifting performance. I'll keep it in stock as I'm not a fan of electronic shifting.

I went from 105 to ultegra and it's just great, stronger, lighter and more responsive.

The product was used as a replacement for a broken original part. The broken plastic part could also be made of aluminium and thus reduce the susceptibility to breakage.

Bought for my ORIGINE 350, to replace a ULTEGRA short chain. Smoothness, precision, ease of assembly are always there, perhaps this recent version seems a little smoother to me, but this assessment is purely intuitive, so what's it worth? The combination with the 32-tooth cassette is very consistent, The quality of MANTEL service is remarkably efficient.

I have always worked with shimano equipment and have never had any problems with it....

Have the 8000er rear derailleur with the long cage bought as a replacement for the 6800er rear derailleur with short cage. Can now use all possible gear ratios. The delivery from the Netherlands has worked wonderfully. Since I had a few (unfounded) concerns before. After installation and adjustment, the wheel runs and switches amazingly clean and runs completely silently. So here my full recommendation for the rear derailleur.

Trusted Shimano quality. A bit better than the 6800-version it replaces. The short cage version has 30-tooth capacity and the derailleur is nicely tucked away. Only downside is that the cable end easily hits the rear wheel spokes if the cable is too long
