Fast delivery great service and good stuff.

Magura brakes are excellent, I replaced a brake set because the handbrake plunger was leaking. Fitted according to the manual provided and everything works fine again.

Good brakes for this price.

The magura hs33 R brakes work well. I just find that they are difficult to adjust at the pistons themselves. It is very difficult to get the brake pads nice and straight at equal distance from the rim. But once this is done, you don't have to do anything else and it brakes very well.

Pros & Cons

Better braking performance than magura hs11
Easy to install
Good price-quality ratio
Difficult to adjust
Pity the brake handle is plastic

fine brake

- T., 22 November, 2020

After receiving neat answers to my questions, I ordered the Magura brake. Mounting as a rear brake on my different model bike (VanRaam Balance) was still a challenge (I couldn't use the Quick-release function as a result), but with a little adjustment things worked. The 2-metre brake line was exactly neither too long nor too short. Now in use for 2 weeks and must say: brakes excellent.

Pros & Cons

braking
challenging mounting on VanRaam Balance

Awesome brakes...

- Dan, 6 January, 2017

...slightly over kill on my Dahon folding bike but ... still an aweome brake. Relatively easy to fit given the online videos. Feel really smooth and powerful. They come with everything you need to fit them. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to upgrade a v brake equipped bike.

Excellent brakes excellent price

- John, 14 August, 2016

Bought these for old school 1998 Specialised FSR where discs not an option. Major improvement over v brakes. Not the fastest to fit as hoses to cut and feed through the frame. Service and price from Mantel second to none - will buy again from here.

Pros & Cons

Excellent engineering
Excellent upgraded stopping power
Poor instructions for shortening hoses

Top quality brake

- Jane, 15 April, 2016

Excellent brake but not suitable for trials bike as bolts and bar don't fit. Only buy if you have the correct bolts and fixing brackets. It should say this in the description.

Pros & Cons

Comfortable lever
Good braking
Looks good
Difficult to bleed
Hose too long
Not suitable for trials without extra parts
