Knog Blinder 1300

Very good bike light, I bought it for unlit cycle paths through villages and sections of forest and have been able to illuminate everything well so far (never had such a good light before). What I also like are the countless levels (lamp lights up permanently and flashes, the different light intensities and the different flashing functions) The workmanship is also very good and made entirely of metal (1 piece) The only thing that could be different for the price would be the holder. I would wish for something of higher quality like the lamp, but it fulfils its purpose completely

The Knog Blinder is not only more than bright enough to find your way home after dark, for example, but also extremely well made!!! I have not yet been able to test the waterproofness extensively, but the aluminium housing and the push button are very high quality and make a good impression!!!

The lamp is very easy to handle, I have it mounted on my racing bike. However, it scatters the light too much. Therefore unfavourable in city traffic. The light should be a little more focussed here. It also dazzles oncoming traffic at all levels. However, it is ideal for riding in complete darkness, i.e. more for trail use.

If I had not used it, it would have been returned. The light output is great. The big disadvantage is that it blinds oncoming traffic because the beam is not 'smoothed'. Is something to take into account anyway.

Pros & Cons

I use this light on my gravel bike and commute 30km to work every day. About 10km of this is through a forest. At the beginning of the year, when I didn't yet have the light, a deer jumped into my bike. That can no longer happen with this light. I can now see the eyes at a distance of 1km.

Bright, flash modes, Garmin mount compatible, simple battery display still undergoing endurance testing on my bike - Point: USB-C cover fiddly (if you press it in too hard with your finger, you can hardly get it open)

Finally light where you can really see something

the lighting is top notch even in low mode it lights up well the full mode is incredible it's like a motorbike headlight the only complaint is the fixing which is a bit tight especially if you're doing gravel I've added an elastic band to secure the whole thing otherwise nothing to say it's perfect just a bit heavy for those looking to save weight
