If you are (semi) serious about cycling, this system should not be missing on your bike. With the included sensors, it monitors everything, gives you even more insight into your performance and helps you get even better. No drawbacks found yet

Great functions very bad UI
It was quitte difficult getting to know this Garmin even though I’m quite technical the menu’s are no joy to browse through. I’m lost mine within a week without a way to track where the heck I left it. Stupid me but also stupid Garmin!

Smart navigation system that lets you analyse everything about your bike ride
Great navigation and training system. I was hesitating between the 540 and 840, but still went for this one due to the feature that the 840 can create its own routes. Very happy with this choice! 1 click on the button and go!

Wss the best device on the market but not for everyone's budget
Already created and ridden several gravel rides. The edge reacts quickly to turns and works smoothly on recalculating if you ride differently to what the route indicates. The Garmin Connect app could be a bit simpler. Too many challenges and settings that ordinary users have no use for.
