Reviews over the
Garmin Edge 540 Bundle

Incomprehensible device.
Sorry guys, but what a pity I went 'back' from Wahoo to Garmin. I did so because I was promised that Komoot and Garmin would work better together. Well that's a disappointment, and I just can't get the hang of this 540 as a whole. Have I become a Boomer? No. The menu structure, the (im)logic of the buttons, the weird links with the app, it's all so much more complicated than Wahoo. Really, I'm extremely bummed about this purchase. Anyone want to take m over? Or someone who has a ten-part "learn to understand and operate your Garmin 540" course on offer?

Good cycling GPS!
Clear road signage, if you have earphones in you get directions too! Other accessories easy to install. If you already have experience with Garmin, setting it up and using it is almost self-explanatory. However, there is no user manual on how to get routes on the GPS, for example.

Powerful measurement tool
A very powerful tool. Gps, BPM frequency, Power, Speed... Lots of statistics to help you progress and manage your route. Small improvements possible to define the route... A little complicated on this point.

Super comact and useful for bespoke training
The bike computer is ideal for the road cyclist who is already more experienced and likes to cover kilometres with the help of a bike computer. I myself can navigate through Friesland flawlessly and see all measurement data at once through my personalised data screen.

If you are looking for an affordable Garmin Edge bundle then this 540 is an ideal choice.
Takes a while to master the controls to get into certain menus. But if you practise a bit, you quickly get the hang of it. If you ride on the navigation, the Garmin Edge is very fast in indicating the route to follow, very clear even for this small screen.

(Almost) Never drive wrong again with visibility to all the data you need!
Very good bike computer with numerous functions. Sensors are easily interchangeable between different bikes.
