Solid and accurate power meter with a beautiful look

- Florian, 15 September, 2025

I use the power meter on my endurance racing bike. The measurement is very accurate. With a weight of 384 g, it is also (marginally) lighter than comparable power meter pedals. The attractive appearance of the pedals is also important. The pedals are supplied with charging cable, cleats and screws. The battery lasts a very long time (approx. 60 hours). The charging cable is attached to the power meter with a magnet. The cable can also be easily connected to a power bank. The charging process is very fast. I have nothing negative to report for the time being.

Top product that just works.

- Sander, 9 September, 2025

I wanted powermeters for my two bikes (mtb and racer). This was the most economical solution where I did not have to buy another (crank) powermeter when buying another bike. I bike 3x a week so I change pedals almost every week from mtb to racer and vice versa. With a dedicated 15mm socket spanner close to the bikes, it's a snap. Charging is also easy with the long supplied cord, you do need to buy a usb pad. Only when changing pedals do you need to calibrate, and this is easily done with the Garmin 530.

Pros & Cons

Accrurate
Indestructible
Simply works
USB charging pad not included

Best value for money for MTB power meter pedals

- Mark, 12 July, 2025

Having already had to replace the bearings on the garmin rally twice, this time I opted for the recent Favero Assioma Pro MX 2. These are only slightly thicker than normal spd pedals (the Garmins are thicker). They are made entirely of high-quality metal. One advantage is that all the electronics are safely and watertight locked inside the pedal axle. The pedal body itself can be easily replaced, and is then a lot cheaper than those at the competition. I also no longer have to calibrate before each ride, this is only necessary the first time, or when you transfer the pedals to another bike. In Favero's app you get a lot of data, and the pedals connect smoothly with the Garmin environment (edge bike computer and Garmin Connect). Currently, I think this is the best deal for this powermeter pedals for MTBs

Pros & Cons

Accurate power measurement

Interchangeable and reliable

- Remi, 21 May, 2024

It took a while but finally Favero also had pedals for MTB. Good reviews online totally convinced me to buy the pedals. Installation was a breeze, idem with pairing. I rode Shimano XT pedals before this so there was no need to adjust anything to my shoes. I must say I really like the power the first few rides, I have a much better idea of how strenuous my training is and can assess how fit I am. A reason for me to go for MTB pedals instead of cranks is that I can also use the pedals on my crosser later in the year. The first rides were immediately muddy so a nice test. The pedals have also hit the ground a few times but there is nothing to show for it. I think I will enjoy these pedals for some time to come

Pros & Cons

Easy to install/couple
Robust design
SPD Compatible
