Yes it is pricey, but worth it!
The review below that someone had bought 2 of these rather expensive trousers convinced me: I took a chance. The trousers fit great, also nice that you can just order your own size. With cycling clothes you often have to order as M carrier L or XL. Not so with Rapha. The chamois is great and I didn't suffer during a 2h+ mtb ride, which I had otherwise. I also had the trousers on the day after and 0 pain. Whereas with multi-day rides I often had problems during the first 10 minutes. Highly recommended! I too am going to buy a second one.

Very fine bib, good chamois. Extra nice that the legs are not so short. Price is absolutely appropriate for the bib.

Do you doubt you want to buy these trousers because of the price; just do it, it's really worth it.
The 2nd one I bought because I liked the 1st one so much. That actually says it all.
