The caliper has an improved seal against dirt and mud.

The mechanical shifting of this R8020 groupset is smooth, even under load.
These shifters combine smooth shifting performance with good braking capabilities.
Also works with other Shimano 105 R7020 or Dura Ace R9020 11-speed derailleurs and calipers.
These shifters provide a lot of grip and control because of their ergonomic design and non-slip layer.
The brake calipers are extra sealed against dirt and mud.
