Does what it needs to do. Is very easy to click onto the pedal (do set the tension of the pedal to the lowest setting). The contact surface is large enough for a good grip. The pedal does drop down with the plate, but that is peculiar to this system.

Regular pedals on your road bike for little money and effort
Excellent option for cycling with trainers, for example. Ideal if you often ride in crowded areas where you regularly have to react suddenly.
