The Oakley Sutro Lite Prizm Road is the newest addition to the Sutro family. These cycling glasses have a semi-rimless design for a larger and better field of view while retaining Oakley's popular style with its bold, versatile appearance.
Frame and other technologies
The frame of the Oakley Sutro Lite Prizm Road is made of O-Matter, a material that makes these cycling glasses durable, lightweight and very comfortable to wear. Oakley's High Definition Optics (HDO) has also been used for the Sutro Lite Prizm Road. It is a technology used to ensure that the curvature of the lens is equal to the curve of your eye. Thus, your vision will always be clear and not distorted in any way. The Unobtainium used for the nose pads and the legs is a material which provides increased grip, even when you are sweating, so that the glasses remain firmly in place.
Prizm Road lens
This Oakley Sutro Lite has the Prizm Road lens, which is Oakley's lens for all-round use. As it has a light transmittance of 20%, you can use it both in sunny daylight and shady conditions. The Prizm technology regulates all the colours you don't want to see out. This makes dull colours 'warmer', resulting in improved contrast. Colours are easier to distinguish from each other, which makes objects easier to see and avoid. Thanks to this colour and contrast enhancement, the Oakley Sutro Lite Prizm Road also creates relaxation for the eyes.
