Meets all my (heavy) requirements
My requirement for panniers is: not long but must have large capacity Which is also very heavy. Without sinking or deforming. This has been achieved.

They're ok, but...
I had high expectations for these panniers. I will keep them and use them, but there are a few short comings. The flaps have a completely rigid bar, presumably to weight them down. but if you place a round bag inside, the velcro on the rigid bar gapes so you can't fix completely onto the velcro on the thin strips on the bag. the flaps therefore blow up in the wind and so not waterproof! the catch is difficult to attach to the bike. it has good capacity.
