What material do you want your new bike to be made of?
An aluminium frame is stiff and lightweight and cheap to manufacture. A frame made of carbon is super lightweight and usually stiffer than aluminium. Carbon can also provide more comfort and/or increase the bike's aerodynamics, which is why all high-quality comfort, all-round and aero bikes are made of carbon.
