Description

Description

With the Lezyne Tubeless Kit you repair a hole in a mountain bike tyre that is too large for the sealant only. The casing is made of aluminum and also acts as a handle. The needle itself is made of durable steel and contains a reamer. This allows you to neatly smooth the hole in the mountain bike tyre before you plug it. Five plugs are included. In short, with this small piece of equipment you will soon be on the road again!

Instructions for Use
First you need to find the hole in the tyre, then make sure the hole is clean. So remove the cause of the leak, such as a sharp stone, a nail or a piece of glass. Then insert the needle without a plug into the hole. With the reamer you can make the hole smooth and round by rubbing back and forth. After this, remove the tool and place the plug in the eye of the needle. Make sure the plug is the same length on both sides. Then push the needle back into the hole. Then turn clockwise a few times so that the plug is properly screwed into the hole. Then remove the needle. You may have to hold the plug with your fingers so that it stays in place. Finally, all you have to do is inflate the tyre!

Not suitable for road bike tyres

- Edwin 9 March 2022

Small hole in road bike tyre but big enough to be sealed by the latex. This tool is not handy to get the plug into the tyre and when it is in the tyre you pull it out again with this tool. But when it does succeed, it cannot handle the pressure, above 5 bar the plug pops out again. Maybe it works better for MTB tyres but for road bike tyres it is a fiasco!

Had to use for the first time today due to nail in tyre. Worthless thing, with the wad in it not getting into the tyre. If I can still get my money back for this please. Don't buy it!

I hope this becomes the biggest misbuy I have ever made, because then I would never have taken a leak. Handy and practically made
