Good shifting
This bike's drivetrain consits mostly of SRAM NX parts, featuring 12 gears and an 11-50 cassette. The big cassette provides a big range, so you will be able to climb steep hills while also having a relatively high topspeed. Thanks to the single narrow-wide chainring, you don't have to worry about losing your chain. The hydraulic disc brakes are very powerful, even in bad conditions. They are also easy to dose, giving you more confidence on high speeds.

Fast tyres
For the tyres, Lapierre have opted for the Maxxis Rekon Race on both the rear and the front. These tyres roll lightly and are wonderfully supple and also offer good puncture protection. They do, however, lack some grip in very muddy conditions.
