If you want to train more seriously or want insights into your cycling performance, a power meter is a must-have addition. It provides a constant way to measure your cycling efforts and the ideal tool to train efficiently.
High accuracy
The INPEAK Powercrank provides highly accurate measurements with a deviation of only 2%, at power outputs from 20 to 2000 watts. Through Torque Effectiveness as well as Pedal Smoothness analyses, it gives you unique insights into your pedal stroke.
Single-sided powermeter
The INPEAK power meter measures the power on the left crank and doubles it for a total power count over both legs. For most riders without limitations, the power on the left and right leg is almost the same for even efforts. If you have an imbalance between your left and right leg, this may result in a small deviation in the data. However, this deviation will remain constant, so your data will always be easy to compare with your own data. Furthermore, the power meter measures your cadence as standard.
Low weight
Due to its very lightweight design, the sensor only adds 10 grams to a standard Shimano crank. This makes it one of the lightest power meters on the market!
Battery life
The INPEAK Powercrank has no internal battery but uses a button cell battery. Although these must be replaced from time to time, the battery lasts for 200 hours. When the CR2032 button cell battery is almost empty, you get a notification in the app to give you plenty of time to replace it.
Connectivity
The power meter only includes a manual zero-offset calibration function, which indicates the vertical position of the crankarm. The power meter provides accurate data in all weather conditions thanks to its automatic temperature compensation from -5°C to +50°C. As the power meter transmits both an ANT+ and a Bluetooth signal, it can be paired with most bike computers. If you are not sure whether your bike computer or sports watch is compatible, take its user manual and look up whether it is ANT+ or Bluetooth compatible and power meter compatible.

Please note: The INPEAK Powercrank power meter is slightly wider than a Shimano left crankarm due to the power meter unit. This may cause problems with some bike frames. To determine if your frame is compatible, you can perform a test: You need to be able to move a 10 mm Allen key vertically between the crankarm and chainstay. If there is enough space for the 10 mm Allen key, you may assume that the power meter is compatible with your frame!
As the XTR FC-M9100 is the only Shimano 12-speed crankset with a different mounting system, this left crank power meter exclusively fits the XTR 12-speed FC-M9100 crank.
