The first Giro Air Attack was a revolution in styling and performance for every type of riding: track, triathlon, road, mountain bike and cyclocross. This Air Attack Shield is inspired by the original air attack, but is finetuned with this helmet as a result, a lightweight, compact and aerodynamic helmet that cuts through the air. Further more there is a lot of comfort, adjustability and improved air flow of the Roc Loc Air system. A lifesaver that's light and surprisingly ventilated

This is my third Air Attack helmet : the first two saved my head and my life in two crashes. It's comfortable and the ventilation works well - better than the rain cover helmet shell might suggest. The shield/visor is great, as you don't have eyewear pressing on your nose, and you can flip it up out of the way against the helmet. The magnets hold it securely, but I attach it to the helmet with some fine plastic string, which has saved it from hitting the tarmac when I've fumbled flipping it. The dark visor is too dark for winter rides so it's worth having a clear one (as well if you can!).

I had to really spend some time getting the helmet sitting right on my head so that the visor sat on the bridge of my nose, but it was time well spent. Super comfy and the lens is brilliant in winter sun (all I have tested in so far). I would definitely recommend this helmet to anyone looking for speed gains.

The best thing to happen to mankind

Used this in a local race the other day and it was great, the visor is great for improving transition times as you don't have to put glasses on, looks great and aero
