De Giant Defy Advanced Pro 2 is waarschijnlijk de fijnst rijdende racefiets die je voor dit bedrag kunt kopen. Waarom? Het Advanced Pro 2 frame is gemaakt van Giants lichtgewicht Advanced carbonvezel. En de carbon wielen brengen de rij eigenschappen van deze fiets naar een nog hoger niveau. Op de schakelgroep is een fractie bezuinigd. Maar de Shimano 105 groepset schakelt tegenwoordig al op zo'n hoog niveau dat je nauwelijks iets van merkt.

Door de lichte carbon vezel en de lichte carbon wielen is deze Defy Advanced Pro lekker licht en kun je zonder al te veel energie te gebruiken lekker doorfietsen. De achterbrug is wat afgeplat waardoor deze wat verticale flex biedt, hierdoor voelt de fiets nog comfortabeler aan. Op slecht wegdek ga je hierdoor ook nog eens sneller fietsen.

Zo is de Giant Defy Advanced Pro 2 een ideale fiets voor de (fanatieke) toerfietser die lichte snelle en comfortabele racefiets wil.
