This Cube is all set to take you on new adventures. The comfortable carbon frame and beautiful components will give you many comfortable kilometres.
Technology
Comfortable frameThe Attain SLX comes with a comfortable and efficient frame. This is because the frame is made of lightweight carbon, making it very stiff. This ensures direct and stable handling. The frame is designed using GTC, or Gran Turismo Composite. This concept ensures that you suffer little vibration during your rides. The cables are well protected inside the frame, making them long-lasting.
Reliable shifting
The Cube Attain Race is largely Shimano 105-equipped. The 12 speed 105 Di2 groupset shifts quickly, smoothly and is very reliable. Moreover, this group has an excellent lifespan and you won't need to replace it anytime soon. The road bike comes with a 2x12 groupset and an 11-34 cassette. This provides a very wide gear range, so you can always find the right gear. For downhill riding, you can rely on Shimano's hydraulic brake rotors. These rotors deliver excellent braking performance and excellent modulation. Even in bad conditions, you can rely on the excellent braking performance of the Cube Attain GTC SLX.
Complete picture
Newmen supplies the attractive wheelset, as well as the hardwear like the handlebars, stem and seatpost. This makes the Attain GTC SLX not only ride well, but also look good. Too bad the crankset is not a 105 version, though, but fortunately that makes no noticeable difference in terms of use.

Comfortable road bike with electronic shifting
Have had the bike for 4 weeks now and have already done quite a few miles on it: it rides very nicely. I experience more comfort than my previous road bike, because I sit up a bit straighter. The electric shifting is really nice! This is also one of the cheaper bikes with electronic shifting. Price/quality is excellent and that is what Cube is known for. The bike fitting by Mantel was poor (just raise the saddle) and I can't do anything with the remark "with your height it is difficult to adjust". A good professional bikefitting at another company led to perfect adjustment. But overall: satisfied with the beautiful road bike!

Beautiful, sleek quality bike
Got about 8 rides on it now and must say that I like this Cube. Previous bike was a Trek Emonda SL6 so the riding position takes some getting used to: you almost feel like you are sitting upright. Electronic shifting also took some getting used to, but I wouldn't want to go back to mechanical shifting. In short, a very solid bike that also looks very good!
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
A top bike at a reasonable price
A beautiful carbon bike, where the electronic shifting ensures that the chain is always straight on the sprockets and therefore requires less maintenance compared to a mechanically shifting bike. Good wheels, light weight and a nice matte black finish the bike. And all that for a reasonable price compared to other electronically shifting bikes. Also very well helped in the Mantel store in finding the right size bike and adjusting the bike. Knowledgeable, friendly staff with a passion for bikes.
