Frame and fork
The frame of this MTB is made of aluminium and includes internal cable routing to prevent damage to the cables, a great plus especially if you often ride on muddy tracks. In off-road riding a suspension fork is very important because it absorbs shocks and vibrations from the terrain effectively. The fork on the Aim Race has 100 mm of suspension travel as well as a lock-out; a lock-out gives you the option of blocking the travel, which saves you a lot of energy particularly when climbing.

Smooth shifting and quick braking
For shifting, the Aim Race has Shimano 2x8 gears. These 16 gears give you a wide range, so you can find the right gear for every part of your ride. When coming down a steep hill, your brakes are hugely important. The brakes on this mountain bike are Clarks hydraulic disc brakes. The main advantage of hydraulic disc brakes is their tremendous stopping power, good modulation and good braking performance in wet conditions. It's good to know you can rely on them and will come home in one piece no matter how muddy your ride.

Multifunctional
The Cube Aim Race has well-concealed mounting points for a kickstand for easy parking. So, this MTB can also be used as a sporty bike for your commute to work or school. The tyres on the Aim Race are 2.25 inch thick to give you plenty of traction on any surface.
