The Castelli Goccia cycling jacket for men is water-repellent with a stretch fit for comfort and aerodynamic performance.
Tempesta stretch fabric for optimal performance
If you're not afraid of wind and rain in the winter, this jacket is a must-have for you. The Tempesta fabric which has been used not only stretches well but is also windproof and gives you protection against rain. As the fabric is so stretchy, the jacket fits nicely around the body and you hardly feel you're wearing such a good rain jacket at all. The only disadvantage one could think of is that the jacket does not fold into an ultra small size, and is less breathable than Castelli's more expensive Idro rain jacket, for example. That being said, the Goccia is a great elastic rain jacket with a perfect fit and good durability!
Extra layer over your normal cycling wear
This rain jacket has been designed to be worn over your normal cycling outfit. So, there are no pockets on the back, and the construction is simple to minimise the number of seams, which helps to make the jacket as waterproof as possible. Of course, the seams that are there are sealed so that no water can seep through. Ventilation has also been duly considered; there is a vent at the back, as well as a reflective element.
