At the core of the Cannondale Caad13 is the lightweight aluminium frame. This frame is very stiff, making you very stable on the road bike. Moreover, the bike also comes with a carbon fork. This handles bumps in the road surface well, allowing you to keep a lot of control over the bike even at high speed.
Shifting and braking
This bike is equipped with a Shimano 105 groupset. These groupsets deliver very good shifting performance and also have good durability. This bike has a 2x11 drivetrain and an 11-30 cassette. This gives you a wide gear range, so you can find a comfortable gear even in the hills. For stopping power you rely on Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. These disc brakes deliver excellent braking performance, even in poor conditions. In addition, these brakes are excellent to dose, giving you great control in corners.
