The Campagnolo Super Record 12 Speed cassette is known for its space-saving dimensions. The width of the cassette has remained equal to the 11-speed cassette. Since the width has remained the same, you can easily mount the 12-speed cassette on your 11-speed wheels. This allows you to keep your familiar wheels when buying the new 12-speed groupset. The space-saving dimensions are reflected in thinner sprockets and narrower spaces between the sprockets. In addition to saving space, this also reduces weight, because the 12-speed cassette weighs only 3 grams more than the 11-speed predecessor.
With the 12-speed cassette you have twelve sprockets at your disposal. The advantage of this twelfth sprocket is that you can shift up and down linearly with one tooth up to the eighth gear. This reduces the gap between the gears. This way you can use the optimal gears in any situation.

The lockring of your cassette can be well tightened, in some cases up to 40 Nm. To make removing the lockring in the future easier, we recommend lubricating it with a bit of assembly grease. You can find our selection of assembly greases here.
