A comfortable ride
At the heart of the UnReStricted 01 Four is its lightweight carbon frame, which makes for agile and well-controlled riding. BMC has applied the Tuned Compliance Concept, which results in a good balance between comfort and speed. The gravel bike also features a D-shape seat post and Micro Travel Technology to provide extra lower back support, making you comfortable in the saddle even on the most challenging stretches.
Smooth and accurate gear shifting
This gravel bike is fitted with a SRAM GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur. The AXS technology allows for effortless electronic shifting with this derailleur. A major advantage of electronic shifting is that it is faster and more accurate than traditional, non-electronic gear shifting. Plus, this GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur continues to shift well when conditions are bad. Furthermore, this BMC gravel bike comes with a large cage that can accommodate a cassette of up to 52 cogs. This large cassette and 12 gears give you a wide gearing range; you'll be able to sprint away smoothly from your cycling buddies even on the steepest climbs. On the descents, you can rely on SRAM's hydraulic disc brakes, which ensure powerful braking performance in good as well as bad conditions. These brakes are also easy to modulate, allowing you to stay firmly in control while cornering.
