The narrow-wide teeth profile prevents your chain from falling off the chainring. With these Wolf Tooth Direct Mount SRAM 8-bolt chainrings, you can use a more recently released 12 speed crankset on your 9/10/11 speed mountain bike. The chainrings are high precision CNC milled, which makes them look very nice indeed.
