Description
Description
The Trek District+ 2 is a reliable, functionally equipped electric bike for daily rides, commuting, cycling to the gym or getting groceries. With this District+ 2, all rides will be a lot more fun.
Attention to the frame
Trek likes to pay a lot of attention to the frame. And it shows! With nicely finished welds, a semi-circular down tube and the motor nicely surrounded, this is a sleek bike to look at. It has its lights nicely incorporated into the front fork and its rear light is fixed between the bars of the carrier. And it now comes with hydraulic disc brakes.
Trek's District+ range is known for being very comfortable. The geometry, which gives you a relaxed upright riding position, is largely to thank for this. Also responsible for this are the wide tyres, which offer plenty of grip, the front fork and seatpost suspension. With this e-bike, you will therefore make your daily rides without a sore or a drop of sweat.
Reliable Bosch technology
Commuting to work or running errands becomes more fun when it's effortless. And that's where the Trek District+ 2 comes in. The reliable Bosch Active Line Plus mid-drive motor (50Nm) is used in many city and touring bikes. This motor can therefore handle everything but the very toughest hills. Because you can choose which battery capacity you want, you can decide on your maximum range. For everyday use and a nice tour, the 400 Wh battery is more than sufficient.
Fine shifting and braking
The District+ 2 e-bike is equipped with 7 gears. These are in a low-maintenance internal hub gear and allow you to always find your ideal pedalling frequency. The smallest gear will let you get away quickly at traffic lights, while the heaviest gear allows you to set a brisk pace. The powerful hydraulic disc brakes also give you the confidence to stop quickly in heavy traffic.
Thoughtful details
That Trek makes for well-thought-out bikes is well known. The District+ 2 is another e-bike with plenty of features. Think of the daytime running lights, where the headlight is beautifully incorporated into the front fork. And of course, this electric bike is equipped in such a way that you can cycle away with it straight away. Practical things like a closed chain guard, luggage carrier, mudguards, carrier straps, a bell and a lock 'just' come as standard.
