SRAM X01 Eagle XG-1295 12 Speed Cassette

The SRAM X01 Eagle XG-1295 MTB cassette for 12 speed, is a robust cassette made for rugged work. Despite this robustness, the weight of this cassette remains low. In addition, you shift quickly and smoothly on this SRAM X01 Eagle XG-1295 MTB cassette, as the teeth are ground with great precision. This SRAM X01 Eagle XG-1295 cassette is durable and has a huge gear range. It also works with other SRAM 12 speed components. The SRAM X01 Eagle XG-1295 cassette is designed for Cross Country, Trail and Enduro disciplines.

Different gearing
With this Sram XX1 - X01 Eagle XG-1295 12-speed cassette, you can choose between 10/50 and 10/52 gearing. The 10/50 cassette has the advantage that the differences between the gears are smaller, so you can easily pedal the right cadence. The advantage of a 10/52 cassette is that you can pedal with even less resistance. This cassette is for example very suitable for mountain bikers who want to climb with full luggage during a bikepacking trip.

Compatible with XD body, switches gears smoothly with X-Glide technology.
The 12 speed cassette fits the existing XD drive, meaning the space between the cogs has been decreased, requiring a narrower chain. X-Glide 2 is the latest generation of the Sram X-Glide technology, optimised for the Eagle 12 speed cassette. It provides quick and precise gear shifts under heavy load across the range, and increases the grip of the chain on the larger cogs.

SRAM XD(R) body
This cassette is only compatible with an XD(R) body. With this type of body the cassette is a single piece. You slide the cassette over the body and then you can tighten the lockring. When installing an MTB XD cassette on an XDR body, a 1.85 mm spacer should be placed in between.

Don't forget the assembly grease!
The lockring on your cassette should be tightened up, in most cases up to 40Nm. To be able to loosen the cassette, we recommend you to apply a little bit of assembly paste to the lockring. Our assembly greases can be found here.

How often should I clean my bike? Regular cleaning ensures that your material lasts longer and that you can enjoy your cycling for longer. How often you need to clean depends on the weather conditions in which you ride. Do you cycle through all kinds of weather, or do you only go out when the sun is shining? It all affects the degree of wear and tear and some people will have to clean their bikes more often than others. Use the schedule below as a guide:

October to March:
• Clean every 200 km
• Rinse after every ride
• Dry and oil the chain after every ride
• Leave the bike to dry at room temperature

April to September:
• Clean every 300 km
• Rinse off after cycling in the rain
• Dry and oil the chain after polishing or rinsing
• Leave the bike to dry at room temperature
