How do you wish to control the 12 gears of your Sram GX Eagle drivetrain? You have a choice with this upgrade kit between a Trigger and a Gripshift. The advantage of the Trigger shifter is that the integrated MatchMaker X allows you to brake effortlessly as well as place your front fork lockout neatly under the bars. The Gripshift allows you to operate the GX Eagle rear derailleur intuitively and in a simple way. The shifter offers a lot of grip and accurate gear changes. Both shifters use the X-Actuation™ technology. This ensures your gear changes remain crisp and consistent across the range of the Eagle cassette, running from the 10t all the way up to the 50t.
The Sram GX Eagle cassette has a range of no less than 500% and features all the latest technology. The XG-1275 cassette has sprockets ranging from 10 to 50 teeth. This makes you fast on the flats while allowing you to get up any mountain. The cassette runs through as follows: 10t, 12t, 14t, 16t, 18t, 21t, 24t, 28t, 32t, 36t, 42t, 50t. It's held together with pins. This FULL PIN™ technology doesn't just make the cassette light but highly durable as well. The open X-DOME™ design allows mud and dirt to be quickly thrown clear. This improves both shift performance and durability. The 12-speed cassette fits the existing XD Driver.
The Sram GX Eagle rear derailleur is fitted with all the great technology first seen with the XX1 Eagle rear derailleur- which is twice as expensive. The larger 12-speed cassette created a need for a slightly longer derailleur cage and increased the size of the lower pully from 12 to 14 T. The Roller Bearing Clutch has been further refined and supplies a more constant pull across the range of the derailleur cage. The only difference is the use of aluminium rather than carbon.
The Sram GX Eagle chain has a solid pin construction, in contrast to the XX1 and X01 chains, making it less expensive but a little heavier. The Sram GX Eagle chain also features the Eagle™ PowerLock® connector link with Flow Link™ technology. This improves the way the chain runs and increases its lifespan.

Great value upgrade
I thought the Eagle GX groupset might be a little difficult to fit & set up. Not a problem - anybody who has some technical ability would be able to achieve a good result. If in difficulty go on line. Great product, good price & quick delivery. What more could you ask for. Thanks.
