Our top choice for top-of-the-line bone conduction headphones
With the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2, you can safely listen to music or your favorite podcast while exercising! The Bone Conduction technology allows you to hear ambient noise in addition to the music. Moreover, this version is equipped with noise-canceling microphones and DualPitch technology, allowing you to enjoy excellent sound quality!

Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • You'll hear both your music and environmental sounds due to the Open Ear design and Bone Conduction Technology.
  • You can wear these headphones for a long time without experiencing any discomfort, because you won't have a speaker pressing down on your ear.
  • Listen to your music for 2.5 hours after only a 5 minute charge thanks to the Quick Charge technology.
  • Also available in Mini, for those with a relatively small or narrow head!
  • The Open Ear design means you can hear ambient noise very clearly, but it can be hard to hear your music in loud or windy environments.

buy the new version Run 2

- Leon 21 September 2025

Tip: -Most people customise the mini best (fits well) -Openrun 2 much better and fits more snugly than the open run This one is really super , just cycled with it , fine note on sizes usually the mini is actually a misnomer, this one is fine by default , and the stand is actually too big and sticks out the back (too big) so your bike helmet pushes the thing off your ear again. So fit and I think most people will fit a mini. Further in terms of sound, the open run 2 is much nicer than the open run. The regular open run vibrates really annoyingly on your bone of jaw and behind your ear. This is in contrast to the pro 2 . Advice: buy the slightly more expensive new version the pro 2! Top thing

Headphones without the drawbacks of earphones

- Alexandra 8 September 2025

I myself have been using the OpenRun Pro 2 for over a year now; I bought this second one for my daughter-in-law. We are both very happy with it. We were losing earplugs, ordinary headphones (too heavy and warm) did not fit under a cycling helmet and there was always the worry whether we would hear oncoming fatbikes in time. This is an excellent solution. The bone induction means there is virtually no sound leakage and you can have a conversation while the music is still playing. It also fits fine if you wear glasses. When making extensive phone calls on the go, your voice blows away a bit. Of course, the microphone is quite far from your mouth.

Pros & Cons

can be worn with a bicycle helmet
light (no pressure on your head)
nice sound
to wear with glasses
you can hear ambient sounds
