SQlab 602 Ergolux Active 2.0

We (M/F) have been using the saddle for a few weeks now and have since got rid of any saddle pains or numbness. My wife 'wore out' quite a few saddles before she found, with this saddle, a saddle on which she could cycle for hours, without aches and pains. I myself cycle several times a week with this saddle and, despite the description saying it is not suitable for this, I don't suffer from anything.

Comfortable seat feel. Saddle can be mounted more forward or backward, according to personal needs.

The saddle is not optimal. At the rear transverse edge too hard, for sit bones from 60 years, the buttocks muscles are too weak and it hurts.

Been using saddle for 2 years, had problems (red urine!). Of course can't ride long distances right away, build up slowly. Recently got a second bike, 30 years young, refurbished, and put (2nd) SQ saddle on it. It is important to measure the distance between your seat bones, as explained on the SQ site.

Tested this saddle alongside an SQ Lab 602 M-D Line Active. This Ergolux is a bit more comfortable at first due to the design and padding. Nice and fine for a short ride. Because of the trench, it relieves the male parts. For me, this saddle is still too soft / does not offer the right support, if you cycle 20 min 4-7 times a week. Then the 602 M-D Line Active is a better choice. Give your body some time to get used to a saddle, it takes longer than a few bike rides. That 30 day trial is really super!

The new saddle was simply due after years of riding with cheap saddles from discounters or DIY stores. After some time of running in, getting used to it and finally also a new EBike, I am totally satisfied - and a bit annoyed that I didn't do it long ago.

Looking for a saddle with pressure reduction on sensitive parts especially on long rides. It takes some getting used to after a gel saddle but a big improvement in terms of saddle pain and pressure sensitive parts on long rides.

I bought the saddle about 2 weeks ago for my E-Mtb. I use it mainly for touring and therefore also ordered a handlebar with a higher rise to sit more upright. The first tour I did with the old handlebars and a slightly more bent sitting position. The saddle is definitely not ideal for this. It is too wide and the sitting position is simply not optimal. After fitting the new handlebars, the picture was completely different. In a more upright riding position, the saddle shows its full strength. Good pressure relief and a pleasant seat feeling right from the first tour! That's how it should be! So you should consider this: if you have a slightly bent position on the bike, the saddle is perfect for you! It should not be too sporty.

Tested this saddle because I am very sensitive to "the dead feeling" and saddles that are too hard, unfortunately this saddle is also not a solution for someone who trains 5x a week. When you sit down you think "lovely" but within an hour the fun wears off.

It's my2nd Sql saddle, I've had the first one for about8 years now and still like it fine. Is still in great condition. This 2nd one sits on a bike converted to E bike. Again, this one sits just fine. The measurement of the sit bones is really important. In short, very satisfied.

I bought the SQlab Active 2 based on my research on the internet. I determined the seat bone distance and added the 3cm as stated on the homepage. The saddle fits perfectly. It also looks very classy. Fits great with my Haibike Trekking 9 Lowstandover. The comfort is very good. I removed the saddle because I am well under 80 kg. I am very satisfied. Can recommend the saddle without hesitation.

It is important to know that you should always measure the distance between your sitting bones and look at your posture on the bike. This is important so that you don't make a mistake when deciding what to buy. With this saddle, my wife always rides between 60 and 80 km a day without pain or pressure points. I can recommend it to everyone.

I had the standard saddle before, then another uncomfortable saddle! All the tours got on my nerves after a few kilometres. I then wanted to have my buttocks measured at SQLab and ordered a set for this! Based on these results, I decided on this saddle! Super comfortable, the saddle is made for my bottom :-) I'm glad I ordered it!

Very pleasant saddle for trekking bike. Average distance 50 to 60 km on one day. Relieves pressure point in the middle well, so no more numb crotch. Pressure point is really on the sit bones. You do notice this, especially during the first rides. The idea of the saddle actively moving with the pedalling motion works great! No lower back pain after long rides. Finally removed the two bars from the saddle, giving it some extra flexibility (73 kg).

Finally an indescribable good feeling !!! I am over 60 and have ridden several thousand kilometres on a bicycle on junk saddles - no matter how expensive the bikes were. Just as the shoes are important for skiing, the saddle is important for cycling. Only then does a unity develop.

The product has far exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, cushioning, movement support and relief of stressed tissue. Finally, hours of pain-free mountain biking are possible, so that only the battery range limits the length of the tours.
