Sturdy, long lasting bar tape

- Jonathan, 16 November, 2024

This bar tape is great. Easy to install and seems to last really well. I have now got it on three different bikes and am very happy with it. The only reason for losing a star is that the end plugs are the type you have to push in. I have always found the ones which have an expander that you screw in to be much better and at less risk of coming out again. Colours are nice and vibrant - wish there were some more options though.

Pros & Cons

Comfortable
Easy to apply
Sturdy
Bar end caps could be better

Good tap.

- Guilain, 17 May, 2023

Good cushioning. Pleasant in the hand. This tape seems to wear relatively quickly. The thin sticky tape supplied (electrical tape) goes well with the tape, which is a nice touch. On the other hand, it's a bit short and doesn't stick very well. But that's a detail.

Pros & Cons

Good cushioning
Good grip
Not too expensive
End tights too short
Seems fragile. To be seen.

Nice tight handlebar tape

- Arthur, 24 June, 2021

Wrapped a handlebar tape for the first time, but actually went without a hitch. Is nice and tight to wrap. Unfortunately couldn't enjoy it for long. Taking the ladder out of the shed the kids trapped my bike, handlebars fell right on the edge of my toolbox.

Pros & Cons

Easy to mount
Nice tight handlebar tape
Sufficient length
Expected more damping

Fine handlebar tape

- Eduard, 7 March, 2021

It's a bit stiffer than most ribbons but if you wrap neatly that's not a problem. In return you then get a super tight ribbon on your handlebars. It is nice and "grippy" with excellent damping without a spongy feel. Tip: immediately treat yourself to a pair of handlebar caps with screw.

Pros & Cons

Does not fill up in the rain
Excellent cushioning
Fine grip
Looks sleek (though with some attention wrapping)
Strong
Only in black
