Pros
The wheels are versatile: aerodynamic but still very light at only 1505 grams.
These Bontrager wheels are tubeless-ready. In a jiffy you can ride without an inner tube, which improves the weight, grip, rolling resistance and puncture resistance.
The Aeolus Pro wheels have no weight limit and come with a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser.
The internal rim width of 21mm allows for a wide range of tyres to be fitted.
The full carbon FF80 construction offers a rigid structure, converting pedalling power directly into forward speed.
The innovative 2-Wave Rim profile with varying rim height significantly improves aerodynamics without compromising stability in strong crosswinds.
The 25 mm inner rim width provides excellent support for extra-wide tyres, resulting in tremendous grip and control.
MoMag technology yields an undrilled rim bed, which eliminates the need for airtight tubeless tape and, therefore, allows for much faster tyre installation.

The Shimano Ultegra R8170 C36 Disc wheels with 36 mm high rims are versatile, and absolutely suitable for use in the mountains.
The wind has almost no effect on these wheels, making them feel wonderfully playful when going uphill as well as on steep descents.
The Ultegra R8170 Disc wheels respond instantly when going into a corner and let you accelerate easily when coming out of it.
As these wheels are tubeless compatible, the risk of a flat tyre is minimised when you ride with tubeless tyres and latex.

This is a very good all-round wheelset; with a 45 mm rim height and a weight of 1339 grams, it is excellent on the flat and also highly suitable for mountain use.
Aerodynamic carbon spokes ensure lightness and rigidity, with little drag.
The wheels were developed in collaboration with UCI teams and optimised down to the last details using wind tunnel results.

Cons
These wheels are not suitable for Campagnolo cassettes.
With an overall weight of 1595g, this wheelset is slightly heavier than pure climbing wheels, but this extra mass translates into extreme off-road reliability.
The system of the cup & cone hubs is durable provided that you re-grease it on a regular basis.
With deeper rims, drag would be further reduced, saving you more energy on the flat.
Carbon spokes are more sensitive to impacts but the wheels come with six spare spokes for easy replacement.
Disc brake rotors are not included.
