Pros
The Selle Italia SLR Advan is one of the lighter and stiffer saddles on the market, ideal for cycling fanatics!
Because padding is added only at the most important contact points, the saddle is light and also remarkably comfortable.
The S-shape makes it easier to stay in the cycling position and prevents sliding.
The wide cut-out relieves pressure from the rider's soft-tissue area.
The short nose allows you to sit deeper and more aerodynamically, ideal for ambitious cyclists.
The flat shape offers stability and freedom of movement for riders with a static cycling position.
As the polyutherane saddle cover is very grippy, you are less likely to slide across the saddle.
The comfortable padding reduces pressure on soft-tissue areas on longer rides.
Cons
As this is a hard saddle, you will need to cycle more often and longer to get used to it. It offers the best support for longer rides. If you ride less than three times a week, you will need a softer saddle that offers more comfort.
Due to the use of steel rails, the saddle is a bit heavier.
