Pros
This is the most aerodynamic wheelset in the Elitewheels range with great wind stability and a very low weight of 1455 grams!
The rim height between 55 and 68 mm retains the stiffness of a higher rim and combines it with the wind stability of a lower rim.
The wheels are optimised for 28 to 30 mm tyres to minimise rolling resistance and drag.
The Surface hubs feature steel bearings, whose rolling resistance and durability approach those of ceramic bearings thanks to tolerances of 0.02 mm.
The Star Ratchet system has fast engagement torque and very direct power transfer.
Aerodynamic 50mm high carbon wheelset with an impressively low weight of 1330g!
The ultimate all-round wheelset, to be used on the flat, in the hills but also in the mountains.
They feature adjustable carbon spokes for low weight and maximum power transfer.
The set uses semi-ceramic bearings for low rolling resistance and maximum wattage gains.
Rim width internally of 21mm and externally of 28mm, making them a perfect fit for 28mm tyres.
Cons
The carbon spokes are slightly more vulnerable on impact than stainless steel spokes but the set also includes extra spokes.
A carbon spoke remains vulnerable to impact, advantage is that 4 spare spokes are included.
