A great device with just the right features for what I need

- Dorien 16 August 2026

It takes a while to get to grips with the functions; it’s not as intuitive as on my Mio Cyclo 605HC. I haven’t tested the ‘Explore’ function yet, but I hope it’s similar to the ‘Surprise Me’ function on the Mio. It’s easy to pair with Strava and Komoot, as well as the sensors. You can set up three profiles. And it records walks well, even though it’s not designed for that.

Pros & Cons

Navigation works perfectly, and the display is sharp
Plenty of options for customising information screens
Useful in-app chat function for queries
Takes a bit of time to get to grips with all the features
Wasn’t able to test the device in-store
Automatic translation

Top product, I’m really happy with it!!

- Erik 27 June 2026

The sat-nav is much better than its predecessor, which I lost whilst mountain biking. I’d definitely recommend buying one.

Pros & Cons

Good battery, now even better
Improved usability
Works better and faster

Great for bikepacking or touring, but not compatible with competitive cycling

- Harald 23 June 2026

I’ve been using the Bryton for a while now as a replacement for my old Garmin. Given its price, the Bryton is an attractive option and works perfectly well for basic cycling navigation. However, for more serious use, the Bryton really falls short. If you approach waypoints a bit faster, it’s always a bit behind. What’s more, the single-band GPS turns out to be very inaccurate. On an MTB ride through the woods, your GPS track is nowhere near where you actually are. On a 50km MTB ride, the Bryton had only recorded 43km.

Pros & Cons

Customisable screens
Good battery life
Large screen
Navigation is not accurate
Single-band GPS
