Designed to distribute the force without damaging your frame
The BTL-113 cup remover is made to distribute the force over the entirety of your bearing cups, so that you do not damage your bottom bracket bearings or frame. Damage can occur easily when using a screwdriver!

Blades bend too easily
Had high hopes of changing my press-fit bottom bracket with this tool. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any movement in it. The cup remover blades slide over the bearing cup as the blades bend, this even with gentle blows/taps with a rubber mallet. Too bad, not worth the money.

Does what it needs to do.
Simple and solid. You do have to pull it firmly through by hand on the other side. But does its job!
