TA Specialites Vento Dubbel

At first I was thrilled, as the chainrings look very similar to Campa’s. Now that I’ve replaced everything (chain, cassette AND both chainrings) and been out for a short ride, I have to say – NOPE!!! – Suddenly, the chain slips if you don’t shift exactly two clicks up or down, and it no longer glides as smoothly as usual when shifting. I fitted the old originals (just the chainrings) back in (they’re still in pretty good condition) and it shifts like a dream again. Even though I don’t see a huge difference now, there’s clearly a world of difference in the build quality. I’ll carry on riding the old ones for now, but I’ll have to buy the originals at some point after all.
