Mantel Energy Gel

Not a recommendation for me, the gel contains too much water, making it run out easily. Also, the opening tears way too easily, and everything runs next to my mouth and on my hands (sticky mess guaranteed)

The packaging is good and quick to open - only in full rain it is a bit trickier. Opening is also big enough to quickly swallow the gel. Absorption is good and it doesn't give me a tummy ache. I really like the flavour, but it is a pity that the mix box does not exist without the caffeine variant.

I find caffeine an added value. But preferably for me not one shot at a time. Rather modulated over the whole enduro ride.

I am quite disenchanted with this energy gel. I bought 12, and after the first gel I thought, 'oh no, 11 more to go...'. Is sticky and doesn't taste like cola, maybe because of the caffeine. Too bad I couldn't combine other flavours.

It's a gel, what is there to say? Taste I good, gives energy and packaging opens easily.

Gave me a little extra at the end of a long ride. No extra water needed to wash away. Tested the blueberry and found it ant-sweet. Next time test the cola.

Easy size, tears open easily and you can't lose the tab easily because it stays attached :) Does sometimes tear off too high leaving a tiny or even no opening :( Taste is fine, slightly sweet but not too sweet in my opinion. Could be a bit bigger for taste :9
