Pedals can get very tight. You can't apply enough force with regular Allen keys. This will do the trick

Spanner bought for removing my shimano pedals. Unfortunately, the hex key on the tool is just ieys too small which made it spin through and thus the 6mm hex key was written off. Fortunately, the hex key can be replaced.

Really good, loosens even the most stubborn tread. Good with both 6 & 8 mm. The length of the shaft is good.

I couldn't get my look pedals loose, even after a night in WD 40. With this spanner it was a piece of cake
