The frame of the CGO800S is made of 6061 aluminium and has a low entry and a 71 degree steering angle, which makes for an upright and comfortable sitting position. The Mivice M070 rear hub motor delivers 250 W of power and 40 Nm of torque using a magnetic torque sensor that allows the pedal assist to respond immediately to your efforts. The 460.8 Wh lithium-ion battery is removable and runs up to about 100 km.
Shifting and braking
This bike has a single-speed drive and a Gates CDN carbon belt, which makes for low-maintenance and quiet transmission that requires no lubrication and stays cleaner than traditional chains. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent stopping power in varying conditions, which helps with efficient stopping on asphalt and cycle paths. This combination supports a smooth and controlled ride through the city.
Finishes and functional details
The SR SUNTOUR suspension fork absorbs shocks and vibrations from the road, contributing to comfort on rougher surfaces within the city. The CST puncture-resistant tyres in size 700 × 48C offer grip and stability on paved roads. The integrated Smart LCD display gives you clear information on speed, assist mode and battery status. The lights meet StVZO traffic regulations and increase your visibility and, therefore, your safety in traffic.
Who is this bike for?
- Riders looking for a low-maintenance e-bike with no chain and no gears to concern themselves with.
- Riders who mainly cycle in the city, on relatively flat terrain.
When to consider a different model?
- If you regularly cycle up hills or carry heavy luggage, a bike with gears may be more comfortable. We recommend taking a look at the Tenways CGO800 Plus with 8 gears.
- If you are shorter than 1.65 m or taller than 1.94 m, this bike is not suitable for your height.
Included as standard:
- Pedals
- Kickstand
Not included / still needed or useful:
If you’d like to adjust anything afterwards, such as the saddle height, you can easily do so using an Allen key. You will find the tools you need in our tool collection.
- Charge the battery regularly, even if you don’t use it every day; this will help extend its lifespan.
- Give the belt a quick rinse with water every now and then; do not use degreaser, lube or oil – the belt doesn’t need it.
- Have the brakes checked annually by a professional bike mechanic, especially if you use your bike a lot.
No, a lock is not included. We recommend one of the following frame locks, possibly with the addition of a chain lock for greater security.
- AXA Atlas ART2 frame lock
- Abus Shield XPlus 5755L ART2 frame lock
- Simson ART2 frame lock
- Abus 6950M XPlus AM ART2 frame lock
How many gears does the Tenways CGO800S e-bike have?
The CGO800S is a single-speed electric bike on which you do not change gears. If you'd rather have an e-bike with gears, take a look at the Tenways CGO800 Plus with 8 gears.
What is the range of the Tenways CGO800S e-bike?
The realistic range is between 60 and 70 km, with a maximum of up to 100 km depending on your riding style and choice of pedal assist modes.

A great e-bike for everyday use.
So far, it’s been a really lovely bike, ideal for everyday use. It’s lightweight and the battery is easy to detach and carry around. Highly recommended for anyone who simply wants a reliable e-bike for everyday use.

A great bike for everyday use in the city.
A really lovely, lightweight bike for the city. The battery is neatly concealed within the frame. The bike has no gears, but you don’t miss them at all. The assistance is more than adequate. I usually cycle using the first level of assistance. Every day I cycle across the bridge and along the dyke, where there’s always a breeze, but this isn’t a problem at all with this bike.

A great bike for touring and everyday use
This bike is exactly what I was looking for. It provides plenty of assistance when riding into a headwind or up hills, but at a normal cycling pace. You don’t miss the gears at all! For commuting to work, trips into town and cycle rides of up to 80 km. What’s more, it looks cool and has a low step-through frame. The saddle can be lowered quite a bit for short people like me. A brilliant bike – I’m happy to share my enthusiasm!
