Frame and electric drive

The frame of the CGO009 city e-bike is made of 6061 aluminium and has a steering angle of 68.5 degrees and a seat tube angle of 71.7 degrees, which contribute to a stable and well balanced sitting position. The Tenways C9 rear hub motor delivers 250 W of power and 45 Nm of torque and uses a built-in torque sensor that lets the motor respond instantly to your pedalling efforts. The removable 374 Wh lithium-ion battery provides pedal assist up to 85 km.

Shifting and braking

This beautiful city bike comes with a Gates CDN carbon belt to ensure a quiet and low-maintenance transmission that stays clean and requires no lubrication. The hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent braking power in varying conditions for controlled stopping on asphalt and cycle paths.

Finishes and functional details

The CGO009 e-bike is equipped with special Tenways tyres that provide grip and stability on flat roads and paths. The display provides clear information on speed, assist mode and battery status throughout every ride. The built-in Smart Connect module provides GPS tracking and notifications via the Tenways app, giving you additional insight into your cycling location and, possibly, the bike's whereabouts. The aluminium front fork and the Selle Royal saddle contribute to a comfortable ride on urban roads.

Power Boost button

Sometimes you need a bit of extra power, for example when tackling a short incline, riding into a headwind or quickly crossing a street. With a single press of the Power Boost button on the handlebar control, you get instant additional pedal assist on top of the level you are already using. This means you don’t have to switch to a higher setting first. The boost only works when you are already moving (from around 6 km/h), so to set off from a standstill, you will need to pedal a little first.

Not included / still required or useful:

• A frame lock and/or other bike lock for secure parking
• A floor pump to maintain tyre pressure

• You can easily charge the removable battery indoors; that saves you the hassle of finding an outdoor socket.
• A carbon belt doesn’t need lubricating; just wipe it clean with a dry cloth every now and then – do not apply chain lube or oil!
• Connect the bike to the Tenways app to set up GPS tracking and motion alerts.
• Always attach a separate lock, as this bike does not have one of its own.
