The PD-T8000 are the best combination pedals in Shimano's range!
These pedals have a low weight.
You are locked in tighter in these pedals, allowing you to pull harder.
The axles are very well sealed, so durability is very high.
Thanks to the reflectors, you are highly visible in the dark and dusk.
The Look X-Venture Plus pedals offer great versatility because you can use them with both normal shoes and cycling shoes.
The adjustable spring tension allows you to customise the release force entirely to suit your personal preference.
The double ball bearings combined with the steel sleeve bearing guarantee a long lasting smooth rotation.
The aluminum pins on the platform prevent the shoe from slipping in wet weather conditions.
The aluminum body ensures very high wear resistance, making the pedals last a long time.
Cons
Less experienced cyclists may find the spring tension too tight.
Due to the hybrid design, you may sometimes have to turn the pedal to find the correct side.
The aluminum pins can cause the soles of soft casual shoes to wear down faster during intensive contact, although this does provide maximum grip.
