According to the product specialist
Pros
A fast and agile hybrid between a road bike and a fitness bike thanks to the lightweight High Performance Aluminium frame with a rigid aluminium fork.
Simple and low-maintenance Shimano Essa 1x8 groupset with a single chainring for smooth and precise gear changes.
Powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes for great control and braking power in all weather conditions.
Generous tyre clearance of up to 50 mm (or 45 mm with mudguards) for great comfort on cobblestones, shell paths and light gravel tracks.
Versatile mounting points on the top tube, frame and fork for bottle cages, mudguards, a luggage rack and panniers.
As the MonkeyLink compatibility makes it easy to mount lights, the bike can be adjusted for use in the dark quickly and easily.
The Schwalbe G-One Allround tyres roll smoothly on asphalt and offer good grip on gravel, allowing the bike to perform well on varying terrain.
With a maximum load of 125 kg, the bike can also hold luggage and is, therefore, suitable for bikepacking trips.
The wide shifting range from 11 to 46 teeth makes this bike suitable for flat and hilly routes.
The Schwalbe G-One Comp tyres combine grip on light dirt roads with speed on asphalt.
Tubeless-ready wheels offer the option of riding with lower tyre pressure and higher puncture resistance.
Cons
The Shimano Essa 1x8 groupset has larger jumps between gears than a traditional road bike groupset with two chainrings.
The bike comes without mudguards, a luggage rack and a lock; you will need to order these accessories separately.
Geen spatborden, verlichting, bagagedrager of standaard standaard aan boord: dit is een kale, sportieve opzet, alles is optioneel bij te bestellen.
An aluminium frame dampens vibrations less than a carbon one but the wide tyres help to maintain comfort on unpaved roads.
The lack of suspension may make cycling on very rough terrain less comfortable but makes the bike's handling on asphalt more efficient.
