The Shimano BR-MT410 brakes deliver more than enough stopping power for the local trails but are of a slightly lower quality than the rest of the XT drivetrain.

The suspension fork has 100 mm of suspension travel, which is less forgiving on extremely technical descents but keeps the bike agile and light.
