Mavic Yksion Pro UST

Driven 2500k in dry conditions. The good (part one): the ride is perfect on these tyres. Great comfort, much better cornering. The bad (part one): I gor a puntcture after 2500k that did not heal as promised. Note: the air came trough an average size cut, of mabye 3mm across, of which you usualy have a few on a 2500k old tyre. The tyre deflated to about 2bar. Pumping only meant losing air again. After a few tries it inflated to 6 only to start losing air again after a few km. The good (part two): it stayed at about 3 or 4 bar now, and I found out I could perfectly well ride it home that way. However: it wil not let itself be pumped up tot normal presure anymore. Losing an euro 50,-- tyre after 2500k is too quick. Also dissapointing that the tyre did not heal itself as promised. It makes me doubt if I want to go trough riding these tyres. Closing note: the 'montage' works well enough, but the seringe could be better. The see-through tube barely fits on the seringe. All in all it is impossible tot get the latex fluid in without making a mess.
