Erg fijne raceband
Op de fiets voel ik me fijn, met GP 5000 moet ik sneller zijn. Lage rolweerstand, grip in de bocht, de perfecte band die elke fietser zoekt!

Best all-rounder
On my road bike, they come as standard in 28 mm. I’ve now bought 32 mm ones for the Specialized Crux. Suddenly, your gravel bike becomes a racing machine! So start with the tyres
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Reliable and comfortable
I’ve been riding on GP 5000 tyres for years, and before that the GP 4000 series. They’re brilliant tyres – I’ve hardly ever had a puncture, they last a long time, are comfortable to ride on and provide plenty of grip even in wet weather. In the past, I used other brands, with which I had punctures far more often.

Great tyres for your road bike that make cycling a pleasure.
Great tyres. I haven’t had any bad experiences with them so far. They do what they’re supposed to do.
Pros & Cons

a good choice for the more experienced cyclist on a bike
Rides well, good grip when cornering and on wet roads. Lifespan yet to be determined

The lovely tyre colour goes perfectly with the bike and the handlebar tape.
A great brand; I’ve had good experiences with it.

An excellent tyre, but the user experience is still limited
The tyre goes really well with my steel classic car.

Turns a gravel bike into a road bike
My Cube Nuroad gravel bike has been transformed into a road bike. What a massive difference! I’m cycling about 2–3 km/h faster with the same effort compared to my gravel tyres. I can now easily keep up with my road cycling mates!
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
A good tyre and a world of difference compared to the Bontrager tyres that came as standard on my road bike.
I eventually replaced the Bontrager tyres with Continental GP5000s. Now my road bike rides much better; it’s faster and more stable when cornering. I should have done that a year ago. I can’t understand why Trek doesn’t fit good tyres as standard.
Pros & Cons

Good, but a bit pricey
Now 250 km further on, the rubber is softer than on my Schwalbes There’s another small dent in it, but I’m happy with it

Great value for money
The usual high quality from Continental.

Poor puncture resistance and sooo difficult to fit
I bought this only a few weeks ago. So much for puncture resistance, I've had two so far on Irish roads and had none on my previous Vittoria Corsa Control. Also I've put on and taken off many tyres through the years and even though I'm quite strong it's almost impssible to put on or take off, I've eben snapped a few tyre levers. After a short time I've taken it off and am going to buy something else. Avoid as a waste of money.

By far my favourite band so far.
I’ve always been happy with Continental, and I’m sticking with them for now.

Very good, though it does wear out a bit faster than its predecessor
I’ve had a really good experience with this tyre; it’s just a shame that it wears out much faster than its predecessor, the 4000. But so far, I think these are the best tyres for my bike.
Pros & Cons

top band
The best tyre I’ve ever driven on
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
I never choose anyone else
I used to ride the 4000, and I’ve been riding the 5000 for years now; ever since the tyres got wider, it’s been even more comfortable to ride

top product
a good tyre you can rely on
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
A top-quality strap and very competitively priced compared to other brands
A decent tyre, just what you’d expect for the price. I think it’s a real shame that the 30mm version and anything wider aren’t available in a skin-wall version. Personally, I think that’s a missed opportunity.
Pros & Cons

Lovely running, light and beautiful tyres, unfortunately some shortcomings.
Fine compromise between handling and reliability

Very good tyre at a good price
I always use the Continental Grand Prix 5000 tyres here I am very satisfied with them. Last a long time and rarely punctured.

I highly recommend this tyre
When it comes to tubular tyres, I consider the Grand Prix 5000 to be one of the best-performing options if you're looking for total performance. The inclusion of a 32mm version makes it even more versatile. This tyre offers a perfect intermediate solution if you're looking for wet grip rather than rolling resistance.

Fast but also reliable tyres!
Now 2 weeks under my bike and measurably faster than my bike's standard supplied tyres were! Difficult to fit them though but, Mantel had a good video with tips to make it easier.
Pros & Cons

the band I dare to order without hesitation
just rode 100km on it, immediately feels more comfortable than the 23mm continentals that were on it before. for me, this is the tyre i dare to order without any doubts. setup: scott foil with zipp rims, butyl inner tubes, 80mm. fitting was very easy.

Quality is disappointing
Brown variant ordered. Brown strip is not applied nicely evenly. Difficult to assemble.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Very good band!
In my opinion, the most enjoyable tyre on sale. Fast tyre man a lot of grip. Goes slightly harder on the rim as comparable tyres. In my experience, a rear tyre lasts about 5-6000km on flat rides.

Canoe deck
I have been driving with Continental for many, in my opinion there are no better tyres.

Good summer tyre that has fine handling - Recommended!!!
When choosing a good road bike tyre, I don't skimp on price. After all, this is the only contact with the road. This GP5000 gives very good grip, even when the road is not completely dry. Rolling resistance is also good. I (almost) never have a puncture so in my opinion the puncture resistance is fine. The tubeless ready version is a bit more difficult to fit, which is why I chose the non-tubeless ready. It is a bit pricey but this tyre is well worth it.

Wat een rijgenot.
De verwachtingen had ik niet zoveel, des te meer de verassing. Door het veel soepelere lopen van de bandjes is het rijgenot ook veel groter

Top tyre, whichever size you choose!
I have gone from 23mm to 28mm and now to 32mm over the past few years with this tyre. Same experience in all tyre widths, low rolling resistance and still plenty of grip. How do they do it anyway? At first I was afraid 32mm would be slower than 28mm, but I'm even faster! And it's really true what they say, that wider actually gives even less rolling resistance and also more comfortable! And another big advantage is how easy this tyre mounts. Other stiffer outer tubes are sometimes a real disaster to mount or change a tyre in cold weather, as the rubber becomes stiffer, but with this outer tyre, changing an inner tube is a snap!
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
good connection
good tyre in all areas apart from the price, but I have fitted a tyre like this 4 times and in 3 of the 4 there was a kink in the seam of the tyre so that it was not completely true on the wheels

For years my favourite band
I have been using this tyre for years and choose it for its puncture resistance and grip
Pros & Cons

Beautiful stylish strap, good quality at competitive price.
Nice tyre(on a black bike) from the higher end with low rolling resistance.
Pros & Cons

Good outer tyre
Good experiences with these outer tyres, depending on conditions the tyre lasts at least 6000km
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Strong tyre with low rolling resistance and reasonable to good puncture resistance.
In the end, this turned out to be the best tyre for me. Tried several other brands. No matter how expensive they were, I often rode them flat! What was the disadvantage of the Conti's was that they flatten over the middle of the tread. But maybe this has improved now. We will see.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
the ideal tyre for the road bike
Good grip flexible with de- and assembly and lasts for many kilometres

Top tyre and looks nice
Very easy to assemble
Pros & Cons

Quite simply the best tyres on the market!
I recently bought Continental GP 5000 tyres and I'm totally won over. Their light weight is immediately noticeable: acceleration is livelier, and you feel a real difference when you want to accelerate hard. Despite their lightness, these tyres are impressively robust. I had no trouble with punctures or premature wear, even on less smooth surfaces. What impressed me most was their performance. Riding the GP 5000 means feeling every watt of pedal power translate into speed, with remarkable comfort and reassuring grip in corners. In my opinion, these tyres offer one of the best compromises between performance, durability and riding pleasure. In short, I consider them to be the best tyres on the market today, perfectly suited to those looking for performance and reliability without compromise.

Shipping went well. Fitting the tyre was as usual just by hand. Came into place nicely. Stability and resistance felt fine right away. No challenge yet but I'm sure it will be good with this tyre.
Pros & Cons

Smooth tyre. Good comfort. Easy to fit. Drive on these tyres for now.
Pros & Cons

The best road tyre
After the GP4000, the 5000 is even lighter and stronger
3 / 5
Fine tyre but I would like a product without factory defects.
Good in the corners. Reliable.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
for autumn and winter better take an all-season tyre for more grip
For winter, it might have preferred an all-season tyre with more grip. The difference from 28 to 32mm on its own is almost imperceptible.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Fine and lightweight tyre in 28 mm.
Coming from a Pirelli P7 32 mm, the better handling is immediately noticeable: what a difference! Additional advantage of 28 mm is that the SV 15 inner tube up to 28 mm fits perfectly. Lighter and better solution than a larger inner tube: 28-42 mm. Mantel again a good price and description on the website.

Pros & Cons

Top tyre but not perfect
After a big slide with Yaw Power tyres on wet roads, fitted these Continental Grandprix 5000. Super good grip in corners, sticks to the road surface as it were and comfortable. Super easy to fit and also seems to go a bit faster. They are not cheap and I personally find the tread wear indicator a bit on the low side. Not a 10/10, but 8 or 9/10. Throw the price down a bit or increase the mileage to make it a top tyre for me at least.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top quality, top service, top delivery speed!
Still the best!

Good experience
Always satisfied with them. Last a long time
Pros & Cons

Nice band
Nice tyres, I read that this has been the all-round tyre for a long time. So I tried it anyway and I like it. Only cycled in dry and sunny weather, which is very fast. Haven't tested grip yet, but I am confident.

Pros & Cons

Top tyres at a top shop!
The rolling resistance to puncture resistance ratio in these tyres is very high. There are tyres that have longer rolling resistance but much less puncture resistance.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Excellent tyres
Nice tyres, easy to mount, even though they are folded in the packaging (folding tyres, huh). Driven 500 km now, goes like a charm. No punctures yet, quality remains to be seen.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Really good tyres, tricky to fit with certain wheels.
Nice tyres for biking. Be careful with your wheels, they are tight and tyre levers can be an absolute must when laying them, this also requires some extra attention to the inner tubes.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Excellent tyre. Rarely punctured.
The previous 4000 series lasted longer. I do about 5 to 6000km with this tyre. Rarely punctured.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Had expected better!
I ordered a set of 28'' for the first time. In 1 tyre there is an irregularity that cannot be removed after trying everything. Very annoying on flat road. So ordered new ones and hopefully better.
Pros & Cons

Quality you will enjoy for a long time.
Have been driving continental 5000 for years. If a tyre has a puncture, using the Tire Glyder' is no longer a problem.

Pros & Cons

Fast resistant comfortable
Already my 5th pair of gp5000 and the more than 10.000km without crack however not to roll on specially clean road. winter as summer dry as rain it never disappointed me contrary to other mark.

Best value tyre for all-round road use
Fine tyres with good traction in both dry and wet weather. In my experience, they are easy to fit on the rim (at least on the rims of the bikes here at home). They are (for the same width) a bit smaller than their predecessor (GP 4000) and wear a bit faster in my opinion.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Grand prix... my second... great tyre
It's my second tyre 28 unfortunately my first one broke due to large piece of glass. But has otherwise taken me everywhere comfortably and quickly
5 / 5
Quick tyre, yet durable!
This really is my favourite tyre. Rolls wonderfully, great traction in all conditions but feels fast. Relatively easy to put on the rim, use it with an inner tube myself. Also lasts a long time for a fast tyre.

Fast, grippy, smooth—classic GP5K performance
Fitted the GP5000s recently and they've been brilliant so far. They roll fast, feel smooth, and grip really well, especially in corners. Ride quality is noticeably better than the stock tyres i had before and they look sharp too. A solid upgrade for anyone chasing performance and reliability.

Perfect tyres, however I had to reposition 1 tyre 3 times before it fitted properly. In the end, using a tyre nipper and pumping to 7.5 bar, it fitted properly
