Beschreibung
The Zipp 302 Tubeless Rim Brake wheels are built for speed, and are intended for aspiring and experienced cyclists alike. They have a spectacular price/quality ratio! Despite the 45 mm deep rim, the wheelset weighs only 1600 grams, which makes the 302 very versatile.
The Zipp 302 Tubeless Rim Brake wheels have a 17 mm internal rim width, which gives clearance for tubeless tyres from 25 mm to even 50 mm. As the name suggests, the 302 wheels have tubeless rims. So, when you have applied tubeless rim tape, tubeless tyres and liquid latex, you can ride without inner tubes. This reduces rolling resistance and increases comfort, grip and puncture resistance. The Zipp 302 Tubeless Rim Brake wheels have the dependable Zipp 76/176 hubs, Sapim CX Sprint J-bend spokes and brass spoke nipples.
Just like almost all other Zipp wheels, the 302s are manufactured in Indianapolis, USA. Ever since Zipp was founded in 1988, the company has always decided to assemble its carbon rims here for one reason: precision and full control of the manufacturing process from start to finish. Like all Zipp carbon clinchers the 302s offer high reliability.
Tubeless ready
The Zipp tubeless ready rims offer the option of riding without inner tubes and at lower tyre pressures. The result is a larger contact surface with the ground for more grip and agility during descents and when riding in wet conditions. In addition, comfort is increased and rolling resistance reduced by riding with a tubeless setup.
Zipp 76/176 hubs
These wheels are built on the foundation of the dependable Zipp 76/176 hubs, which contain durable and well-sealed industrial bearings. The hubs' spindles and the freehub body can be removed without tools for quick and easy cleaning and lubrication. In addition, Zipp has chosen a J-bend spoke design to make it easy to replace spokes.
• Tubeless rim tape
• Tubeless valves
• Quick Release skewers
• Quick Release end caps
• Torque wrench (optional)
Mounting a cassette to a wheel is easy when you have the right tools. If you buy a cassette remover with a Shimano fit, you can mount Shimano as well as Sram cassettes to your rear wheel. If you have a 9/10-speed cassette, begin by sliding the spacer that is included in the delivery over the freehub body. Then, place the cassette on the body. There is only one way to do this because of the fit of the body. Finally, put the washer on nice and straight and by hand, and tighten it with the cassette remover. This should get it tight enough, but you can also use a torque wrench just to be sure.

• For Shimano 9/10-speed, remember to mount the spacer before mounting the cassette
• Make sure the rim tape or tubeless tape sits properly in the rim base
